Privacy policy
1. Introduction
Klabber Note Keeper ("the App") keeps score for the card game Klabber (Klaberjass, Deberts). This policy explains what the App stores, where, and how it is used. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
2. Information we collect
The App doesn't collect any personally identifiable information.
2.1 Data you enter in the App
You can enter player and team names, scores, melds, penalties and game settings. The App also keeps your game history (when unlocked), saved teams and the game in progress. This data:
- stays on your device, and
- is kept in your own private iCloud account if iCloud is on for the App.
We never receive or store this data.
2.2 Automatically collected data
The App doesn't collect personal identifiers, contact information, location, device identifiers, media files or any sensitive data. It contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code.
2.3 iCloud
If iCloud is on, finished games are stored with CloudKit in your private iCloud database, and settings, saved teams and the game in progress in iCloud key-value storage. Only you can access this data; we can't. It is protected by Apple's iCloud security (Apple privacy).
3. In-app purchases
The App offers an optional one-time purchase that unlocks the full history. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive or store any payment information. Apple may share anonymized sales figures that don't identify you.
4. How your data is used
Your data is used only inside the App to keep score, show results, history, statistics and awards, and to sync through your iCloud if it's on. We don't share, sell or transmit your data to anyone.
5. Third-party services
The App uses only Apple frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, CloudKit and StoreKit). No third-party analytics, ads or tracking services are included.
6. Data security
Your game data stays on your device and in your private iCloud storage, which Apple encrypts in transit and at rest. We never access your iCloud data.
7. Children's privacy
The App doesn't collect personal data and is suitable for all ages. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. Your rights
Because we don't collect or store personal data, you own and control all of it:
- delete a game in the App, or delete everything by removing the App;
- remove iCloud data in iOS Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Updates are posted on this page, which is linked from the App Store listing.
